Why A Rapid Diet Plan Is Essential. - How To Lose 10 Pounds In A Week Or How To Lose A Pound A Day

Anyone who has been overweight for a while would have tried to lose the pounds before and to get motivated yet again is difficult. They see the difficulty rather than the positive results they may get. This failure sits in their minds and they fear going there again. The key to getting people to take ownership of their eating patterns is to get motivation high.

As someone who helps people to lose weight I am delighted when someone asks me how to lose 10 pounds in a week or how to lose a pound a day. It means that they have urgency and a target in mind. I can move on to the next step. I can work on the urgency and goal that they already have and this will help them until they get their first rewards. Since real visible results come to them within as little as a week it gives the motivation a meaningful boost. There is no greater boost to one's commitment than seeing results from effort.

It is far easier to drop weight fast than to do so over a long period. It is almost impossible to change habits slowly. You have to be decisive about it. Once you have made the decision it is easier to be motivated knowing that you will see results soon. A distant goal is vague and not real in people's minds.

There is no danger in losing weight fast. People don't suffer harm from losing weight fast. Starvation diets lacking in essential nutrition does the harm, so that needs to avoided.

The following are some must do's for fast weight loss:

  • Keep the image of your target uppermost in your mind all the time.
  • Take some vitamin supplements.
  • Visualise reaching a challenging and motivating target weight within a date less than 15 days away.
  • Set a definite goal with your target weight and date defined. Make it short term.
  • Never feel like a victim. Know that you are achieving something big.
  • See every step towards your objective in a positive light. It is a reward for yourself you are working on.

Thus avoid slow diets. You will not keep your motivation and will soon fall back into old routines. Make the decision firmly and start immediately. For an overweight person losing the excess is probably the most rewarding thing they can do.
