NOTE: Use headphones while listening.

Binaural tones or binaural beats are relaxing sounds are allowing for a deeper relaxation and a more effective meditation session.

These tracks were custom-made by Leo Konfino with a specialized, state-of-the-art recording software.

Binaural beats (or tones) were discovered in 1839 by the German scientist, H. W. Dove.

He found that humans possess the ability to detect the subtle phase shift of sounds arriving in one ear slightly before arriving in the other.

The sensation of binaural beats occurs when two coherent sounds of nearly similar phase relationships or frequencies are heard by the listener.

The brain detects phase or frequency differences between the sounds. the brain then combines the two signals producing an internal representation of a third sound called the binaural beat.

Hemisphere synchronization (from binaural beats) has been shown to positively impact a whole variety of emotional, spiritual and mental states.

The Binaural Beats affect your brainwaves. And. depending on the Binaural Beat, put you gently into trance states of high suggestibility and can be likened to a form of 'high tech' meditation, where audio and visual patterns are used to guide your mind to the relaxed, focused state experienced during meditation

Brain Waves & Consciousness

Beta (13-26 Hz) Alert concentration and problem-solving

Alpha (8-13 Hz) Alert relaxation

Theta (4-7 Hz) Deep relaxation and increased learning

Delta (1-3 Hz) Deep sleep
